What is the difference between Living Things and Non-Living Things?
Watch this video about Living Things and Non-Living Things
UNIT 1: LIVING THINGS AND NON-LIVING THINGS
UNIT 1: LIVING THINGS AND NON-LIVING THINGS
Our world is made up of Living Things and Non-Living Things.
What is the
difference between Living Things and Non-Living Things?
Living Things can: Breath, need food and water, move or grow.
Non-Living Things cannot breath, cannot move or grow, do not need food o
water.
- · What is it?
- · Does it breath air?
- · Does it grow?
- · Does it need water or food?
- · Does it move?
Many of these Living Things are very small. They can be so small that we
need a microscope to observe them, while others are much larger than we are.
However, they all share certain characteristics: what characteristics do
living things share?
·
They all interact
with their environment.
·
They grow.
·
They reproduce.
·
And they eventually
die.
All living things are made up of cells which form the building blocks of
life.
How do we classify living things?
Welcome back to school year 2015-2016
